“saying grace” *facepalm*
This part of religion has always rubbed me the wrong way.

Ok, so you have good food in front of you! awesome!…
….someone has made it for you
….worked long hours to earn money to buy the ingredients
….at a job they might hate…or whatever
….(depending on the meal) been in the kitchen for hours!
….just making that for you and your family
….AND you thank GOD for it?!
what did he do?? given you the ‘strength’ to do it? oh please…
nothing, that’s what.
Now, this is not just the family members’ fault for this injustice (or friends or what not). It is also the cook or the food providers fault as well,
probably because they drink the same kool-aid as the others.
Oh, sorry I have forgot to mention all the people that made it possible for the ingredients to actually BE IN the shopping market. Farmers, laborers, factory workers, truck drivers, the list goes on……
If you want to thank someone thank all those people! (I think buying their products is sufficient though)
not some invisible ‘being’ in the atmosphere (some Christians compare to the illusive Wind!)
Give credit where it’s due…
P.s Thank you Tumblr for making it possible to make this post possible :)
